Hotel Policies

Sawtelle Mountain Resort is a privately held company and we reserve the right to refuse service. We are not responsible for items lost or stolen during you stay with us. We ask you to please make sure your valuables are secured.

Cancellation Policy: If Cancellation occurs outside 7 days or more prior to the arrival date, we refund your deposit. Large groups the cabins and bunk houses have a 90 day cancellation policy. If you cancel after 7 days then your deposit is forfeited. No refunds for early departures.

Pet Policy: Pets are restricted to certain rooms. NO PETS IN CABINS! If you are bringing your pet on vacation with you please contact our reservations specialists to check if you need to switch to a different room that allows pets. Please understand we only have a few pet rooms available. The pet cleaning fee is $10.00 per night in a designated pet room. Undeclared pets in rooms that we do not allow pets in will be charged 150.00 per night.

No Smoking: Sawtelle Mountain Resort is a non-smoking facility, we permit smoking in a few designated rooms. Smoking in a non- smoking room will result in a $150 per night cleaning fee.

Sawtelle Mountain Resort RV Park and Campground Rules

  1. RV site occupancy is One RV and a Maximum of 8 people per site.
  2. RV Sites do not allowed tents. If you must have a tent, check at the office for a tent site.
  3. Tent site occupancy is One Tent. Maximum of 8 people per site. If you mush have more than one tent, please check at the office for an additional tent site.
  4. RV and Tent sites are allowed ONE vehicle parked at the site. Additional vehicles, boats and utility type trailers must park in the additional parking areas. DO NOT park on or block the road.
  5. DO NOT park or drive any motorized vehicle, motorcycle, or ATV on any area other that the designated roadways. Do not operate on grass or RV, or Tent sites.
  6. ATVs, motorcycles and off highway vehicles are restricted to ENTERING and EXITING the RV park. No riding in the park.
  7. Use of ATV’s, Motorcycles and other off highway vehicles are prohibited in the RV Park after 10 p.m.
  8. DO NOT remove picnic table from sites. Our Park area is available for larger gatherings.
  9. Please DO NOT put barbecue grills on plastic picnic tables.
  10. Keep all fires in existing fire rings and small in size. NO large fires. Do not dig new fire pits. Never leave fires unattended. Extinguish all fires before leaving for the day, or before returning for the night. Sawtelle guests are subject to all the local area fire restrictions and regulations. At certain times of the year we will post NO FIREWORKS.
  11. Pets must be kept QUIET, leashed and NEVER left unattended. Pets are NOT allowed in Motel units, Bunkhouses, pool house, deck, office, or shower facilities. Please keep your pets quiet no barking dogs.
  12. Pet walking areas are available, please walking your pets in the designated areas, and clean up after your pet.
  13. Pets are not allowed in the Park and Playground area at any time.
  14. Swimming Pool and Hot Tubs are for registered guest only. Wristbands are required. Children under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult who is 18 or over in pool or hot tub areas. Swim pants (water diapers) are required for children who are not toilet trained. If we have to drain and clean the pool you may be charged $500. Unattended children will be asked to leave.
  15. You must shower before entering the pool.
  16. Management reserves the right to deny use of, or ask any person to leave the pool premises for any persons failing to comply with any pool regulations.
  17. No cooking, food or Alcoholic beverage allowed in pool or spa areas. NO glass containers at any time.
  18. QUITE Time is from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  19. Trash disposal is available at the RV Park restrooms, and other designated areas.
  20. SEWER REQUIREMENT – Sewer connectors required, available for sale at the front desk.
  21. Some times we have to move RV’s from one site to another to accommodate guests. We ask for your understanding if this occurs, we do everything possible before we ask for anyone to move.
  22. Sawtelle Mountain Resort, LLC and the management, or owners of the park are not responsible for loss due to fire, theft, accidents, or any damage to your personal equipment or RV. You or your personal insurance is responsible for any damage or accidental mishap to any of your personal property.
  23. When parking your RV please make sure you have spotters to avoid any damage to your RV and or the trees or other guests equipment. We are not liable for any damage to your equipment.
  24. Site requests are gladly accepted, however, due to some circumstances, we are unable to guarantee them. We do our very best to accommodate all our guests. RV Sites are generally assigned by size of unit first.
  25. Please do not ask for a refund, in most cases other travelers have been turned away because of your reservation. There are no refunds for early departures.
