Cancellation Policy:
Because we are a small business and there is high demand for our accommodations, we enforce a strict cancellation and no-show policy. This cancellation policy applies to all reservations except when noted separately above. If cancellation occurs 8 days prior to the arrival date for hotel rooms and RV park, or 31 days prior for Cabins, Conference Rooms, family reunion or other large groups, we will refund your deposit. If cancellation occurs 7 or fewer days prior to the arrival date for hotel rooms, and RV park or 30 days for Sawtelle Cabins, Conference Rooms, family reunion or other large groups, you will not receive a full refund of deposit, if cancellation is the same day as reservation or you are a no-show you will be responsible for the entire amount of your reservation. There are no refunds for early departures or other circumstances.
Pet Policy:
NO PETS in Hotel and/or cabins.
Smoking/Vaping Policy:
Sawtelle Mountain Resort is a non-smoking facility. Smoking in a non-smoking room will result in a $400 per night cleaning fee.
Lost Items Policy:
We are not responsible for items lost or stolen during you stay with us. We ask you to please make sure your valuables are secure. If we find items after your departure, we will hold them for 30 days for you to reclaim, after which we will dispose of in a commercially reasonable manner.
Damage Policy:
I, including everyone in my party, take full responsibility for any damages to my room and to Sawtelle Mountain Resort property and will pay for the repairs before I leave. I will report any damages that occur.
Parking Lot Policy:
Please observe the 5 MPH speed limit on our property, especially during snowmobile season. If you have a trailer or over-sized vehicle, or are going to be parking in the roads, please contact the front desk for approval.
Key Policy:
There is a $5 fee for every key not returned.
Pool and Hot Tub Policy:
Swimming Pool and Hot Tubs are for registered guest only. Children under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult who is 18 or over in pool or hot tub areas. Swim pants (water diapers) are required for children who are not toilet trained. If we have to drain and clean the pool you may be charged $500. Unattended children will be asked to leave. You must shower before entering the pool.
Management reserves the right to deny use of, or ask any person to leave the pool premises for any persons failing to comply with any pool regulations.
No cooking, food or Alcoholic beverage allowed in pool or spa areas. NO glass containers at any time.
RV/Tent Park Policy:
DO NOT park or drive any motorized vehicle, motorcycle, or ATV on any area other that the designated roadways. Do not operate on grass or RV, or Tent sites. ATVs, motorcycles, and off highway vehicles are restricted to ENTERING and EXITING the RV park. No riding in the park. Use of ATV’s, motorcycles and other off highway vehicles are prohibited in the RV Park after 10 PM.
DO NOT remove picnic table from sites. Our Park area is available for larger gatherings.
Please DO NOT put barbecue grills on plastic picnic tables.
Keep all fires in existing fire rings and small in size. NO large fires. Do not dig new fire pits. Never leave fires unattended. Extinguish all fires before leaving for the day, or before returning for the night. Sawtelle guests are subject to all the local area fire restrictions and regulations. At certain times of the year we will post NO FIREWORKS.
Pets must be kept QUIET, leashed and NEVER left unattended. Pets are NOT allowed in Motel units, Bunkhouses, pool house, deck, office, or shower facilities. Please keep your pets quiet no barking dogs.
Pet walking areas are available, please walking your pets in the designated areas, and clean up after your pet.
Pets are not allowed in the Park and Playground area at any time.
Quiet time is from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Trash disposal is available at the RV Park restrooms, and other designated areas.
SEWER REQUIREMENT – Sewer connectors required, available for sale at the front desk.
Sometimes we have to move RV’s from one site to another to accommodate guests. We ask for your understanding if this occurs, we do everything possible before we ask for anyone to move.
Any illegal activity on our property is prohibited. You and your guests must leave the property immediately, will forfeit the remainder of your reservation, and will receive no refund in any way.
Sawtelle Mountain Adventures, LLC D.B.A. Sawtelle Mountain Resort, LLC and the owners of the park are not responsible for loss due to fire, theft, accidents, or any damage to your personal equipment/property, vehicle or RV. You or your personal insurance is responsible for any damage or accidental mishap to any of your personal property. Sawtelle Mountain Resort will charge you card for unpaid balance, damages, items taken, pet, and/or smoking cleaning charges. It also represents your consent to all policies, procedures, and rules as outlined here.
